The Dragon Student Veterans Club / MSUM Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter is a student-led organization that serves as a support network for student Veterans, Service Members, and their families transitioning into higher education. Our club/chapter provides a community for military-connected students on campus, offering resources, mentorship, and advocacy to help them succeed academically, personally, and professionally.
Our Club/SVA Chapter:
🔥 Offers Peer Support: Creates a sense of belonging and camaraderie among military-connected students, helping them adjust to civilian and academic life.
🔥 Fosters Leadership: Empowers military-connected students to take on leadership roles within the club/chapter and campus community.
🔥 Organizes Events: Hosts social gatherings, networking events, professional development workshops, and advocacy initiatives to promote the interests of military-connected students.
🔥 Advocates for Military-Connected Students: Works to raise awareness about the needs of military-connected students and ensures they have a voice in university policies that affect them.
